Massage

Swedish Massage

The standard type of massage that most clinics offer, and it is one of the most common massage techniques. It is based on Western concepts of anatomy and physiology using lotion or oil. Swedish massage aims to release muscle tensions, stimulate nerve endings, and increase blood flow.  It provides full body relaxation as well. Based on your own preference, you can ask for the provider to use light, medium or firm pressure.

Clinical Deep Tissue Massage

Clinical deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage, but it is a more focused, therapeutic technique that goes further. It is generally more intense targeting the inner layer of your muscles, tendons and dense connective tissues. Since the pressure is more intense, you can discuss with the provider before and during the treatment. Deep clinical tissue massage works through tension reaching the deep muscles where pain or discomfort can be released. Deep tissue massage is very beneficial for athletes, runners, and people with injuries. It works for people with chronic pain as well. Because individual’s conditions vary, combination of both Swedish and deep tissue massage may be provided.

Our typical massage sessions are 30min, 45min, and 60min.
